Binghamton?
Yesterday was awesome because after playing magic with gagne alex and neal for a night, and generally just goofing around, neal alex and I went to wegmans. This would be at 330am. We wandered around and such, then alex had to call his gf Lindsay who was working at the mall because they had gotten in an argument earlier on account of some cheating on her part. Then I got the great idea to leave that night for Binghamton, which we all decided was perfectly the most random thing we could do. So we switched cars, because Neal was driving us for the first time, and by 430 we were on our way to that city. It was three hours drive there, three hours back, and alex had a class he couldn't miss so we had to leave there at 10am at the latest, which left us 2.5 hours there. But the purpose of the trip wasn't to be there, it was to drive and have lots of fun hangin out together, and we accomplished that. The way over was way totally fun and we all got to know a lot of things about each other that we'd never known before. We got there and surprised lindsay who was walking around security guarding the place and acting important even though she wasn't doing anything besides getting excercise. Oh, and the stores weren't open yet so the only people there were there to walk around excercising. And there were tons of old people there doing just that. Some stuff happened, neal and I wandered the ghetto and tried to buy things, but ask me about it if you want details--it was one of those things that will be timeless. I got back and happy birthday mom was written on the white board. So I said crap b/c I hadn't gotten her anything yet and soon my dad was home and he'd gotten a card for me to give her. Then Cora arrived and she and I signed it b/c she hadn't gotten her anything. But I got the credit for the card and my mom loved it, but said, "you know my birthday isn't until tomorrow, right?" and I played it off well, but my dad said "no. January third is your birthday." Cora tried to cover for him like he was joking but he insisted he didn't know. I knew her birthday was the fourth, but since my dad told me it was today, I thought that day was the fourth--argh! So the four of us packed in my civic and drove over to Fairport to get mom's gift and half an hour into it I fell asleep and didn't wake up again until we were home, then I dazily walked inside and fell asleep in seconds on the couch, then woke up at 9pm to eat something then walked upstairs and fell asleep from 930 until 1230pm today. So I slept about 21 hours or so, but at least I was waking up at a normal time. Then today I did some reading and filled out some paperwork and played Halo then went to see Meet the Fockers with the parents at 7, which turned out to be hilarious. I love that movie, and I saw Elyse at the end of it. We came home and wathed the Orange Bowl and a documentary about some people having problems with parole, then I played Halo for a few hours. Today I started with the first flood level, and ended right before killing the Prophet of Regret, so you can gauge my progress. I was/am stuck on the part where I kill Regret, for about 30 minutes, and I was starting to get frustrated, but I'm not as frustrated as I was trying to kill the Heretic Leader. I had never had any problem at all killing him, but this time I kept killing the illusions of him and I could never find the right one! That took me about 30-40 minutes for a scene that should have taken one. Anyways, not much is going on with me anytime soon until the day after tomorrow when I'll play some poker at BenG's house. Hopefully, I'll get to kill Regret tomorrow and then make my way through some Brutes! Fun stuff. Later, rum cakes.
